Season: from June to early September
In June, the Norwegian spring is coming to an end to make way for the late summer. After a long winter, the sun’s rays cover the cinematic landscape of the island of Senja and force the snow in the mountains to recede in a friendly way.
When the flowers finally wake up from winter hibernation, it is time for the trail season to begin. With temperatures ranging between 10 and 20 ᴼC, people of all ages and social classes will walk in the mountains, on the coast or in the forests. Sometimes, it is even possible to run into the Queen of Norway walking in these parts. She considers the island of Senja to be a miniature Norway!
Knowing the best trails for a fascinating journey in the leafy mountains of the island is an advantage that Senja Experience can offer you. This is a special invitation for you to join our declared love for Nordic nature.
